We have a Patient Reference Group to help us plan future changes to the Practice. Following discussions with the group and a survey of patients coming into the surgery we have produced the following plan of action for addressing matters of mutual concern.
| 1) Publicise use of secure website for re-ordering |
Slip in all repeat meds bags. This will be delayed until after we have moved to a new clinical system in May to limit possible confusion. |
2) Waiting Room
Television – Stays but need to look into using for advertising Practice Issues
Music – Stays but light classical and no singing
Reading Material – Thank donors and keep up to date |
Develop regular update process
Expand collection of suitable music
Appoint appropriate person to prune |
3) Communication
- Focus efforts on Newsletters and Village publications while maintaining website and posters - Look into links to our website on local village websites - Look into possibility of emailing Newsletters - Look into getting information out to Woodcutts (and other smaller communities) |
Open dialogue with local webmasters
Advertise and set up e-group
Invoke help of PRG in getting ideas about how best to do this |
If you are interested in joining the group please email us on
