The Chase Community Friends offer
voluntary support services to
everyone who needs it within the
Cranborne Chase Villages.
Social day centres are held
regularly at the Sixpenny Handley
village hall, especially for those
who have little opportunity of
meeting with others. Coffee, lunch
and entertainment is provided
(transport available). Morning
Coffee is held every Thursday in the
Roebuck 10.30 - 12 noon.
The Chase Community Friends also
offer transport for hospital,
surgery or dental appointments
(there is a voluntary contribution
scheme to help with expenses,
collection of prescriptions, relief
for carers and emergency garden
care, dog walking, child sitting
etc.
